Usually we'll go through hot topics and questions/essays that are likely to come out for exams, and there'll be examples and arguments provided for every question. (I wouldn't even have heard of like 90% of these examples if not for tuition lol). I think learning gp in this manner is quite different from other gp tuition I've tried because it actually gives me examples that can be used across similar types of questions instead of teaching me to write an essay in a mechanical way. As for Comprehension, we get exposed to different types of questions and learn how to answer them using a rather safe and classic approach (for questions which are more simple and common). Yeah and I've been able to do essay questions from other schools and receive feedback for them so that definitely helped me become more aware of my area for improvements 😆😆👍

I really enjoyed lessons throughout the past few months. Aaron is a really passionate, well-prepared, and knowledgeable teacher to learn from :) I'm very pleased with all the practice I managed to get during lessons to broaden my thinking, as well as the notes provided which are incredibly well crafted. Thank you again Aaron, no regrets taking on GP tuition ☺️☺️

Aaron's lessons are very organised and allowed me to understand complex ideas more easily. Although I was only under his tutelage for about 3 months, he has taught me many skills and ways to approach GP which has made my revision so much more efficient.

He also gives very constructive feedback when we submit our work for him to check which has helped me pinpoint which area and how to improve. Not to mention, his notes are also insightful and highly applicable!!

The techniques for question analysis taught during Aaron’s lessons were very useful in helping me dissect essay questions, especially after being so confused for over a year!

His lessons are well-paced and he always tries to guide us towards the answers with probing questions when we struggle, which really helped me practise brainstorming. The resources given were also easy to understand and apply, which made studying for GP feel so much easier👍

To be honest, I don’t really know what to expect for tuition because it's the first time I'm ever having GP tuition. To my surprise, the tuition sessions were really insightful and helpful towards my revision. I really like how the essay arguments were taught very clearly and there were very interesting contemporary examples given which helped me to memorise them easily. There were also really powerful, fancy vocabulary taught which helped to boost my language.

When I started using them in class tests back in school, I began getting comments like “Wow, somebody's been doing their homework, good!” from my GP tutor lol. I guess to summarise, the
tuition sessions really helped me a lot. GP used to be the bane of my existence because my English was weak and I always didn't know what I was doing at all when I attempted GP papers. All the notes provided and the lessons really helped to structure my thoughts and overall, I saw GP as a more enjoyable subject to do :)

Aaron is able to dissect any GP essay with ease and create original and insightful responses that reflect thorough evaluation of the issues contained in the question. From cogent arguments to fully appropriate and wide-ranging examples that are clearly linked to the point being expounded, he has taught me how to write essays that cover a comprehensive scope. I am blessed to have him as my tutor for the GP exam.
